
Hon. Clement Abas Apaak represents Builsa South in Parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). A native of Doninga, he was born on Thursday, 11th June 1970, and is a Christian. He is currently serving his second consecutive term in Parliament, having previously been a member of the 7th Parliament.
He holds a PhD from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2008, an MPhil from the University of Bergen in Norway, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Archaeology from the University of Ghana. He had his early secondary education at Sandema Secondary Technical and Nandom Secondary School.

Before becoming a legislator, Hon. Apaak served as a Presidential Staffer at the Office of the President and held teaching positions at both Simon Fraser University and the University of Ghana.
In Parliament, he contributes to legislative oversight and national development as a member of the Public Accounts Committee and the Chieftaincy, Culture and Religious Affairs Committee.
