A mobile money operator has been shot dead at his residence in Garu in the Upper East Region, sparking fear and concern among residents.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred late in the evening when unknown assailants reportedly attacked the victim at his home. The attackers are said to have fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

Residents who heard the gunshots rushed to the scene and found the victim unresponsive. He was later confirmed dead. His identity has not yet been officially released by authorities pending notification of family members.
