Faiza Seidu Wuni, wife of former National Food Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO) CEO Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba, has applied to the High Court for permission to travel to the United Kingdom to facilitate medical treatment for their son.
Mrs. Wuni, who is standing trial alongside her husband in an ongoing criminal case, is seeking a variation of her bail conditions to allow the trip. The application is scheduled to be heard on July 28.

The prosecution has questioned the timing of the request, noting that it comes shortly after Mr. Aludiba filed a similar application to travel abroad on medical grounds. However, the defence insists the application is solely to enable treatment for the couple’s son.
Mr. Aludiba and his wife are facing charges over alleged financial improprieties during his tenure at NAFCO. Both have pleaded not guilty and remain on bail, with court approval required for any travel outside the country.
The court will determine whether to grant Mrs. Wuni permission to travel after hearing arguments from both the prosecution and defence.
