Inflation in Ghana dropped to 5.4 per cent in December 2025, down from 6.3 per cent in November 2025 and 23.8 per cent in December 2024.
According to Dr. Alhassan Iddrisu, Government Statistician at the Ghana Statistical Service, the slowdown in price increases means households and businesses now have greater stability to plan, spend, and invest with confidence.

The latest figures show a significant easing of inflationary pressures compared to the same period last year.
