Police declare suspect wanted in connection with Nkaseim robbery

The Ghana Police Service has declared a suspect, identified as Hoyeefi, wanted in connection with a robbery attack at Nkaseim in the Ahafo Region.

According to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), investigations have established that Hoyeefi is the leader of a robbery gang responsible for coordinated attacks carried out on 2nd December 2025.

The attacks targeted the Nkaseim Police Station, Adwumapa Cocoa Buying Company, Kobby Gold Buying Company, and areas around the Asutifi Rural Bank.

In a press release issued on 1st February 2026, the Police indicated that efforts are underway to locate and arrest the suspect.

As part of measures to aid his arrest, the Ghana Police Service has announced a reward of Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC50,000.00) for any person who provides credible information leading to the apprehension of Hoyeefi.

The Police have appealed to members of the public who may have information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts to contact the nearest police station. The public may also reach the Police through the emergency numbers 191, 18555, or 112.

The Ghana Police Service has reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the public and urged citizens to support law enforcement efforts by volunteering relevant information when necessary.
