Police arrest three more suspects in Adabraka gold jewellery shop robbery

The Ghana Police Service has arrested three more suspects in connection with the daylight armed robbery at a gold jewellery shop in Adabraka in the Greater Accra Region.

The suspects are Fatao Mohammed, also known as Motorway; Nashiru Abubakari, also known as Soldier; and Sadick Abubakar Satire, also known as 50 Cent.

The Ghana Police Service arrested the three suspects on 20 January 2026.

The Ghana Police Service believes the three suspects are the main gang leaders behind the robbery syndicate.

The arrests bring the total number of suspects arrested in connection with the incident to seven.

The Ghana Police Service recalled that a daylight armed robbery occurred at a jewellery shop in Adabraka on 2 November 2024.

The robbery resulted in the theft of GH¢7.5 million.

The Ghana Police Service assured the public that investigations into the Adabraka gold jewellery shop robbery are ongoing.

The Ghana Police Service reiterated its commitment to arresting all persons involved and ensuring they face the full rigours of the law.
