The Bono Regional Office of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) has recorded 110 cases between January and November 2025, with approximately 60 percent successfully mediated and settled, according to Mr Paul Frimpong, the Bono Regional Coordinator of ADR.
He said the results underscore ADR’s effectiveness as a fast and efficient tool within Ghana’s justice delivery system.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency during the 2025 ADR Week celebration in Sunyani, Mr Frimpong emphasised that ADR allows disputes and litigation to be resolved more quickly than traditional court processes.
“Some disputes can persist for generations; however, when such matters are referred to ADR, they can often be resolved within a matter of months,” he noted.
The week-long celebration, running from Monday, November 24 to Friday, November 28, 2025, was officially launched by Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie under the theme: “Adoption of innovation and technology to enhance access to justice delivery through ADR.”
Mr Frimpong assured that the ADR office would continue to intensify public awareness and engage with regional courts to educate clients on the benefits of ADR in resolving disputes and conflicts.
