Government receives US$35 million dividend from Perseus Mining

The Government of Ghana has received a US$35 million dividend, approximately GH¢391 million, from Perseus Mining Ghana Limited.

The payment represents the government’s 10 per cent interest in the company and is seven times the US$5 million dividend received last year.
