Ghanaian Afrobeat artiste Fancy Gadam says he is not concerned about missing out on recent music awards, insisting that his priority is making good music for his fans.
The 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Most Popular Song of the Year winner, who earned the accolade with “Total Cheat,” said awards are only an added bonus and not the measure of his success.

Responding to reports that he was unhappy about being overlooked, particularly in the Artiste of the Year category, Fancy Gadam said building a loyal fan base remains his main goal.
He stressed that the greatest achievement for any musician is having people support and believe in their music.
The artiste recently demonstrated his popularity with a successful concert in Madina, where he entertained fans with an energetic performance.
