Dr. Frank Amoakohene announced the ceremonial groundbreaking for the Drobonso College of Health Sciences, a pioneering tertiary institution in the Ashanti Region, funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund.
The college, the first of its kind in the region, is designed to train medical, health, and allied health professionals, and will serve as a centre of excellence for health education, skills development, and research.

Key dignitaries at the event included the Drobonsohene, the local Member of Parliament, the District Chief Executive, and the Deputy Administrator of GETFund, all of whom were acknowledged for their leadership and support.
Once completed, the institution is expected to expand access to tertiary education, create opportunities for youth, and strengthen healthcare delivery across the Ashanti Region and beyond.
