Engineer Yawson Otoo has officially submitted his nomination forms to contest the .

Speaking to the media after submitting the forms, Mr Otoo expressed his commitment to securing a second term in the primary, emphasizing that this opportunity would allow him to lead the party as a candidate in the .

He urged delegates to choose a credible and marketable parliamentary candidate who could collaborate with the flagbearer, Dr , to retain the presidency and continue the party's positive work for the benefit of Ghanaians.

Mr Otoo stressed the importance of selecting a unifying candidate capable of bringing the party together to achieve its objectives.

Mr Yawson Otoo highlighted the need for a new vision and aspiration in to transform the constituency into one of the finest, ensuring a significant victory in the 2024 elections.

He expressed hope and confidence that the delegates would choose him to lead the party.

Acknowledging that internal conflicts had contributed to a decline in the constituency's votes, Mr Otoo urged delegates to select a winnable and credible candidate.

The chairman of the Council of Elders and the election committee, Mr Kingsley Eduful, appealed to all aspirants, including the sitting MP, to adhere to the rules and regulations, promoting a peaceful and respectful campaign.

Alhaji Gibrin Tanko, the Agona West Constituency Chairman, warned aspirants against going against the party's decisions and structures.

He emphasized that the party would not tolerate actions that hinder the efforts to win the 2024 elections.

The constituency secretariat would communicate the challenges facing the party to all aspirants, urging them to collaborate in finding solutions for a peaceful primary.
