Accra, September 11, 2023 – The management of Rufftown Records has provided reassurance to the public following news of a car accident involving their artiste, Wendy Shay.
In a statement released by the record label's CEO, Mr. Ricky Nana Agyemang, also known as Bullet, it was confirmed that Wendy Shay is in stable condition and is expected to fully recover.
The incident occurred on Saturday night on the road between ACP and Kwabenya in Accra when a tipper truck rear-ended Wendy Shay's Jeep Wrangler.
The statement reads, “The singer was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she received prompt medical attention. According to the latest medical reports, Wendy Shay is in a stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery. Rufftown Records, family, and friends would like to thank everyone for their prayers and for the outpouring of love and support from fans and well-wishers. Mr. Bullet, in the statement, expressed gratitude for the prayers and support received thus far and appealed for continued prayers for Wendy Shay as she undergoes recovery.
