Yussif Basigi, Head Coach of Ghana's Under-20 side, Black Princesses, has unveiled his final squad for the upcoming West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B Girls Cup set to be held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The team has been diligently preparing for the tournament through rigorous training sessions and friendly matches, aiming to excel as the host nation.
In their recent friendly encounter, the Black Princesses displayed an impressive performance, securing a resounding 11-0 victory against Niger's Menas, boosting their morale ahead of the competition.
Among the selected players are notable talents such as Afi Amenyaku, Amina Ahmadu, Deborah Brown, Takia Zakaria, Sarah Kulible, Comfort Yeboah, Rose Boakyewaa, Fatimata Fuseini, Comfort Owusu, Wasima Mohammed, and captain Stella Nyamekye.
Completing the squad are Success Ameyaa, Mafia Nyamekye, Tracy Twum, Abigail Sakyiwaa, Faiza Seidu, Mary Amponsah, Hellen Alormenu, Aoyem Georgina Ayisha, and Abena Anoma Opoku.

The leadership of the team will be entrusted to Stella Nyamekye, a midfielder from Dreamz Ladies, who will be supported by Maafia Nyamekye, Afi Amenyaku, and Abena Anoma Opoku.
Ghana has been placed in Group A alongside Ivory Coast and Benin for the WAFU B Girls Cup.
The highly anticipated tournament is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, May 20, and will run until Saturday, June 3, 2023.
