Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia inaugurated the Wesley Towers, a 16-storey single tower that will serve as the new Head Office for The Methodist Church Ghana.
The state-of-the-art building, situated at the Ambassadorial Enclave, West Ridge, Accra, was funded entirely by the Church's internally generated funds. It includes an auditorium, a restaurant, executive conference rooms, offices for rent, and a 100-capacity car park.
The Wesley Towers is not only a symbol of the Methodist Church's heritage but also offers fit-for-purpose facilities as a Grade ‘A' Office Block. It enhances the aesthetics of the Central Business District of Accra, contributing to the skyline transformation.
During the Commissioning and Dedication ceremony in Accra, Vice President Bawumia expressed hope that the Wesley Towers would be a place of spiritual transformation and growth.
He said, “May the Wesley Towers be a place where lives are changed, where relationships are deepened.”
The Vice President acknowledged the unwavering faith, dedication, and commitment of the Methodist Church Ghana's members, emphasizing that the project exemplifies what can be achieved when a community unites with a shared purpose and vision.

Bawumia highlighted that the Wesley Towers represents more than just a physical structure, describing it as “a symbol of our faith, a beacon of hope, and a place where love and compassion will flourish.” He emphasized the core mission of the Church to worship, fellowship, work, learn, and support one another.
He also extended gratitude to the Church members for their generous contributions of time, talent, money, and resources that made the Wesley Towers a reality.
In his sermon, the Most Reverend Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo, the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, called upon the congregation to rededicate their lives to God and use the edifice as a symbol of enduring faith and hope to spread the gospel of Christ.
Despite celebrating the commissioning, Bishop Boafo emphasized the need for the congregation to renew their faith in God and lead lives that please Him.
He expressed gratitude for God's faithfulness during the construction, even amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Wesley Towers not only stands as a remarkable architectural achievement but also serves as a testament to the faith and dedication of the Methodist Church Ghana and its members.
