Ghana's music industry was abuzz with glitz, glamour, and jubilation as the curtains fell on the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) on Saturday, May 6.

The prestigious event recognized the exceptional contributions of Ghanaian musicians and culminated in the crowning of the highly coveted Artiste of the Year award, which was triumphantly claimed by Black Sherif.

Black Sherif wins Artiste of the Year 2023

Black Sherif, a rising star who has garnered immense popularity with his hit single “Second Sermon,” emerged victorious amidst stiff competition from industry heavyweights such as Piesie Esther, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, Kidi, and Joe Mettle.
