Madam Princess Otchere, Commercial Manager of T.T. Brothers Limited, has urged corporate bodies, institutions, and philanthropists to support the less-privileged in society to enable them to achieve their aims and contribute to national development.
Speaking during the donation of food items worth thousands of cedis to the SOS Village in Tema, Madam Otchere emphasized the importance of support to the less privileged in society.
The donated items, which included 30 bags of rice, five gallons of cooking oil, and crates of soft drinks, formed part of an agreement signed between the company and the Village some 17 years ago. The company's policy is to assist the needy in the communities where it operates.
Madam Otchere expressed hope that the donation would motivate the children to take their studies seriously and contribute to the development of the country.
On behalf of the Village, Madam Comfort Asamoah, Mother Representative of the SOS Village, thanked the company for its kind gesture and called on other corporate bodies, individuals, and institutions to emulate the example of the T.T. Brothers and support the village.
Madam Asamoah noted that the support of corporate bodies was crucial to the survival of the Village, as it relied heavily on donations to provide for the children's basic needs. She expressed gratitude to the T.T. Brothers for their unwavering support over the years and called on others to follow in their footsteps.
