Mr. Moses Anim, Member of Parliament for Trobu Constituency in Greater Accra, is vying for re-election, urging New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates to entrust him with another term to continue delivering development.
In an interview in Accra, Mr. Anim emphasized his track record of service since his 2020 election victory, highlighting his unmatched contributions to the constituency's progress.
Trobu Constituency, a stronghold of the NPP, saw Mr. Anim secure victory with over 25,000 votes in the 2020 elections, outpacing the National Democratic Congress candidate by a significant margin.
As the NPP prepares for parliamentary candidate elections on January 27, 2024, Mr. Anim faces competition from two aspirants, Madam Gloria Owusu and Mr. Edward Lincoln Nii Adotei Addo.
Mr. Anim, also serving as Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, urged delegates to evaluate his achievements, citing substantial improvements in health, education, water, sanitation, and road infrastructure during his tenure.
Highlighting his initiatives, Mr. Anim mentioned assistance to health facilities, provision of educational infrastructure including furniture and classroom blocks, and road improvements in the constituency.
Expressing his dedication to the constituents, Mr. Anim appealed for support to retain his candidacy, emphasizing his commitment to serving the people faithfully and efficiently.
The NPP parliamentary candidate elections on January 27 will determine whether Mr. Anim secures another term to continue his developmental efforts in Trobu Constituency.
