The Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspects in connection with a robbery incident that occurred at East Legon in Accra on August 18, 2024. The suspects, identified as Isaac Brena Eshun, Peter Amuzu, and Ibrahim Mohammed, were apprehended through intelligence-led operations.
Eshun and Amuzu were arrested in Accra on August 21 and 23 respectively, while Mohammed was nabbed in Tamale on August 24.
Exhibits recovered during the operations include two iPhones, a Mercedes-Benz C180, and three additional vehicles believed to have been acquired through illegal activities.
Initial investigations indicate that the suspects are part of a criminal syndicate involved in the robbery and sale of stolen vehicles across the country. All three are currently in police custody, assisting with further investigations.
