International advocacy organization Global Citizen, in collaboration with creative imprint pgLang and Ghanaian President Nana , alongside Rwandan President Paul Kagame, has declared , Ghana, as the second host city for this year's Move Afrika: A Global Citizen Experience tour. The announcement was made at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Move Afrika aims to establish an unprecedented international music touring circuit across Africa, fostering economic investment, job creation, and in each host country. pgLang is the tour's curator, and the initiative is set to expand to three countries in 2024 and five countries by 2025.

The first Move Afrika event took place in Kigali in December 2023, featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Kendrick Lamar.
