The TSG is additionally responsible for selecting major individual awards at the tournament, including the Golden Ball, Golden Boot, Golden Glove and Best Young Player awards.

Addo’s appointment is seen as recognition of his growing reputation in international football. The former Borussia Dortmund talent coach has earned praise for his tactical approach and player development work in both club and international football.
