“Accra Hearts of Oak has not placed any valuation on Benjamin Asare, and has not authorised any individual or media outlet to communicate a transfer fee or asking price on its behalf,” the club said.
Asare’s profile has risen after an outstanding World Cup campaign, where he became the first home-based goalkeeper to start a World Cup match for Ghana and kept a memorable clean sheet against England.
The 33-year-old, who joined Hearts of Oak in July 2024, remains under contract until June 2027 and has been linked with a move abroad.
While rejecting reports of a fixed asking price, Hearts said it remains open to considering formal offers that are in the best interests of both the player and the club.
The club also urged the media and supporters to rely only on official Hearts of Oak communications regarding the goalkeeper’s future.
