
Hon. Dickson Kyere-Duah is the Member of Parliament for Berekum West, representing Jinijini on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Born on Tuesday, 5th February 1974, he is a Christian and serves on the Environment, Science and Technology Committee as well as the Ways and Means Committee of Parliament.
Hon. Kyere-Duah’s academic and professional background reflects a strong foundation in public relations, environmental management, and science education. He holds an MA in Public Relations from UNIMAC (2021), an MSc in Waste Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK (2009), and a BEd in Science Education from the University of Education, Winneba (2003). In addition, he is an Accredited Member of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana (2022) and a graduate of Sunyani Senior High School (1993).

Before entering Parliament, he built a distinguished career at Sunyani Technical University, rising through roles including Environment and Sanitation Officer, Acting Estate Officer, Facilities & Environmental Manager, Public Relations Officer, and ultimately Head of Public Relations. He also served as a Lecturer and Instructor, with earlier teaching roles at Wamanafo L/A JHS and Twene Amanfo Senior High School.
His blend of academic insight, professional leadership, and dedication to sustainable development informs his work in Parliament, where he champions environmental stewardship, science-driven policy, and community progress.
