Hon. Desmond De-Graft Paitoo is the MP for Gomoa East

Hon. Desmond De-Graft Paitoo is the Member of Parliament for Gomoa East, representing the people of Gomoa Dasum on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Born on Thursday, 21st August 1969, he is a Christian and has served in Ghana’s 8th Parliament.

Hon. Paitoo’s academic journey spans technical, managerial, and higher education achievements. He earned his City and Guild Intermediate certification from Akwatia Technical Institute in 1991, obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Methodist University College in 2018, and is set to complete his Master’s degree at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (G.A.M.P.A) in August 2024. His foundational education began at Akwatia Presbyterian Basic School, where he obtained his MSLC in 1987.
