
Hon. Dan Abdul-Latif is the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma Central, elected on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He was born on Sunday, 25th January 1970, and hails from Tamale. A practicing Muslim, he is serving his second term in Parliament, having been part of the 8th Parliament.
He obtained his G.C.E. Ordinary Level certificate from St. Joseph Middle School in Tamale in 1986. Prior to his election to Parliament, Hon. Abdul-Latif held executive roles in several private sector organizations. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Aysan Cevre Isiklan Dirma Malzemeleri S. T. Ltd., and as Executive Director at both Tropical Sheaway Global Consulting and Fire Energy Ghana Ltd.

In Parliament, he serves as Vice Chairperson of the Information and Communications Committee. He is also a member of the Committees on Independent Constitutional Bodies, Chieftaincy, Culture and Religious Affairs, and serves as Ranking Member of the Backbenchers’ Business Committee.
