On the 31st night, the Ghana Police Force increased vehicular and motorbike patrols across the nation to enhance safety and security during watch night services.

The reported a visible police presence at every street corner and road intersection in national, regional, and district capitals.

Residents around Ablekuma and its environs expressed appreciation for the increased police deployment, commending the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Dampare, and his leadership for the proactive measures.

They expressed satisfaction that the police were omnipresent, ensuring a sense of security.

In a noteworthy move, the IGP, Dr. George Dampare, actively participated in the 31st December Night Security operations.

He toured several churches in , including the International Central Gospel Church, Christ Temple East Teshie, the in Graceland Nungua, and Action Chapel International on Spintex Road.

The purpose of the tour was to reinforce security measures, ensure the safety of citizens, and maintain law and order as the country ushered in the year 2024.
