Mr. Michael Yaw Gyato, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, has launched a road reshaping project in Dambai town as part of his social responsibility agenda for the people of Krachi East Constituency.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr. Gyato, a former Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation, highlighted the significance of the development in alleviating the challenges faced by road users and residents. He emphasized the positive impact on the local economy.
Mr. Gyato assured residents of Krachi East that tangible progress in developmental projects would be evident, stating, “the NPP is dedicated to delivering on its promises.”
Motorists in the area praised Mr. Gyato for his continuous efforts in contributing to the region's development. Simon Danquah, a taxi driver with three years of experience in the area, expressed gratitude for the ongoing work and appealed for similar attention to be given to other roads within the locality.
The roads in Dambai, the densely populated regional capital of the Oti region, have been in a state of disrepair for several years. Mr. Gyato's initiative is seen as a positive step towards addressing this longstanding issue and fostering economic growth in the region.
