Mr. Paul Hopeson Kwaw, a parliamentary aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Jomoro Constituency of the Western Region, is urging delegates to rally behind him in the upcoming 2024 general elections. He emphasizes the need for dynamic leadership to address the development lag in Jomoro.
Mr. Kwaw, who has been vetted and cleared for the NPP orphan constituency primary, expressed his commitment to leveraging his international connections for the benefit of the constituency. He highlights his role as a key party member in the United States branch of the NPP and emphasizes his rich experience.
Addressing the developmental challenges in Jomoro, Mr. Kwaw outlines his plans, stating, “I am endowed with rich experience to bring to bear the development needs of the people of Jomoro.” He reveals engagements with foreign investors to establish a 200-acre rubber plantation farm to revive the defunct tire factory initiated by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah at Bonsa.
Additionally, Mr. Kwaw emphasizes the importance of skills development training to empower the youth and enable them to capitalize on emerging industries in the area. The parliamentary aspirant is competing with Mr. Kwame Evonla Whajah and Mr. Paul Essien, a former MP for Jomoro, in the upcoming primary.
