Professor Richard Kofi Asiedu, the Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), expressed confidence in the party's ability to secure victory in 20 out of the 23 Parliamentary seats in the region during the 2024 elections. Speaking at an awards ceremony organized by the Agona West NDC Youth Wing, Prof. Asiedu outlined strategies to mobilize party members, especially youth, across all constituencies to achieve this goal.
He emphasized the importance of unity within the party and urged cooperation from all members, particularly highlighting the significance of supporting the Agona West Parliamentary Candidate, Mrs. Ernetina Dangbe, in recapturing the seat from the ruling New Patriotic Party. Prof. Asiedu underscored the need for mutual understanding and collaboration among party members to ensure success.
The Chairman commended the innovative and proactive efforts of Mr. Freebody Mensah, the Agona West NDC Youth Organiser, for his contributions to the youth wing. Additionally, Mrs. Queenstar Pokuaa Sawyer, the Agona East Member of Parliament, lauded the dedication of the youth wing and encouraged them to focus their campaign efforts on the NDC's economic policies outlined by flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, aiming for a decisive victory in the upcoming elections.
