The contribution consists of fifty bags of cement and six packets of roofing iron sheets.
This initiative is a collaborative effort between two communities, Dayi-Kope and Panku-Akura, within the Nkwanta South Municipality.
The aim of the project is to provide accommodation for healthcare personnel posted to the Dayi-Kope health facility, which also serves the Panku-Akura community.
Mr. Kini expressed that he responded to a request from the local chiefs and residents to provide building materials for the project.
He emphasized the significance of the health of both the community and healthcare personnel and assured continuous support for the socio-economic development of the region.
Togbe Atavi II, the Chief of Dayi-Kope, expressed his gratitude for the generous gesture, noting that these materials would facilitate the timely completion of the accommodation.
He also highlighted challenges facing the community, such as poor road infrastructure, lack of communication networks, and electricity. He appealed to the government to address these issues.
Mr. Samuel Owusu Ansah, the Charge of the Dayi-Kope health facility, explained that the facility currently has six staff members but only three have accommodation.
This situation has posed challenges, especially during emergencies at night when attending to patients becomes difficult.
Mr. Ansah expressed his appreciation for Mr. Kini's donation to the project and hoped for continued support, particularly in providing electricity and communication networks for research and improved connectivity with their families.
