Tema, Ghana – The Media Coalition Against Open Defecation (M-CODe) is set to participate in the ‘MOLE XXXIV WASH Conference 2023,' collaborating with stakeholders to advance efforts toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In a statement released by Mr. Francis Ameyibor, M-CODe National Convenor, it was announced that M-CODe representatives would join forces with WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and global stakeholders at the prestigious Mole XXXIV WASH Conference.
Scheduled to take place from October 29th to November 3rd, 2023, in Jirapa, Upper West Region, the conference will provide a platform for sharing insights and innovations and shaping the future of the WASH sector.
The statement called on stakeholders to support and sponsor M-CODe representatives from various regions to facilitate their participation in the conference.
M-CODe's presence is expected to enrich the conference with accurate, balanced, and unbiased news coverage while contributing to discussions on various topics.
The statement acknowledged World Vision Ghana and GAMA for sponsoring M-CODe members in the previous year and called upon other stakeholders to join these organizations in sponsoring more members for this year's conference.
The MOLE XXXIV WASH Conference will convene experts from government ministries, departments, agencies, development partners, academia, research institutions, NGOs, Community-Based Organizations, Faith-Based Organizations, Civil Society Organizations, the private sector, and media practitioners.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from successful practices, disseminate the results of projects, and collaborate to enhance sustainable WASH service delivery.
