Samuel Amoah, also known as Biggie, the man accused of killing a woman and her two children at Kasoa last year, made his first appearance before the Adabraka District Court on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
The case was, however, adjourned to Thursday, September 25, 2025, after the court did not sit. Police personnel had a difficult time escorting the accused to a waiting vehicle as relatives of the deceased shouted insults at him.
Some relatives of the deceased, Alberta Hagan, claimed she was a married woman and not in a relationship with Amoah, insisting he only ran errands for her.
Amoah was charged with three counts of murder after being arrested on September 17, 2025, in Suhum, Eastern Region. He is accused of killing Hagan and her three children on May 19, 2024, at Tuba Net-Link Estates in Kasoa. Police found the 39-year-old woman and two of her children dead, while the eight-year-old survived with multiple head injuries and was sent to the hospital.
During interrogation, Amoah reportedly admitted the offence but claimed he did not know what came over him. Investigations are ongoing
