The Foreign Minister further expressed appreciation to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, for granting him an audience during his visit, which included negotiations for the release of two Ghanaian prisoners of war.

On his part, Denys Bashlyk outlined Ukraine’s interest in investing across Ghana’s agricultural value chain. He also proposed the establishment of joint research centres and the transfer of technology through collaboration between universities in both countries.
