During the discussions, Honourable Ablakwa reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to providing a conducive business environment for investment. He also highlighted Ghana’s ambition to develop its agricultural sector and position itself as an agrarian hub.

The Foreign Minister further expressed appreciation to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, for granting him an audience during his visit, which included negotiations for the release of two Ghanaian prisoners of war.

On his part, Denys Bashlyk outlined Ukraine’s interest in investing across Ghana’s agricultural value chain. He also proposed the establishment of joint research centres and the transfer of technology through collaboration between universities in both countries.

He emphasised the importance of private sector collaboration as a means of strengthening ties and deepening cooperation between Ghana and Ukraine.
