The Health Ladies Association, a group comprising health workers, has donated to female inmates at the Central Prisons.

The items presented aim to improve the hygiene and overall well-being of the inmates.

The donated items include sanitary pads, shaving blades, toiletries, washing and bathing soaps, pomade, brushes, toothpaste, and washing powder.

Rev. Esther Prempeh, the President of the Health Ladies Association, expressed the association's commitment to supporting needy and vulnerable individuals in society.

She emphasized the joy that comes from sharing with those in need, including orphans and vulnerable populations.

Superintendent Charity Yeboah, who is in charge of Industry at the female prison, expressed gratitude for the donation and highlighted the significance of such support.

She noted that it had been a long time since the inmates received shaving sticks from the public, and she appealed for continued assistance.

Supt. Yeboah stressed that the reformation and reintegration of inmates are shared and collective responsibilities.

She called on the public to contribute to the essential needs of the inmates and support their rehabilitation efforts.
