Ghanaian hip-hop and afro-beats sensation, Prince Sasu, known in the showbiz scene as Tell’em, has dropped a new single titled “This Year.” The track, produced by Skantybeatz, was officially released on January 26, 2024.
Tell’em shared that the song carries a message of positivity, encouraging his fan base to remain calm and approach the year with positive intentions to achieve their goals. Despite being recorded in 2020, the artist believed that now was the perfect time to release the track for maximum impact.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Tell’em expressed his hope and belief that this year holds positive outcomes, serving as the inspiration behind the song’s release. He mentioned that “This Year” is the fastest song he has ever written since starting his professional music career in 2018.
The artist emphasized that he took three nights to ensure the lyrics and sound resonated well with listeners. With three singles, various freestyles, and a few features already available on platforms like YouTube, SoundCloud, and Audiomack, Tell’em assured fans that more releases, including singles and freestyles, are on the horizon for 2024.
He encouraged fans to connect with the message of “This Year,” personalizing and actualizing the positive affirmations embedded in the song. Additionally, Tell’em offered advice to fellow artists, urging them to stay consistent and true to themselves in the dynamic music industry.
