More than 130 shop owners and attendants were educated on fire prevention measures and encouraged to install fire extinguishers in shops, homes and vehicles for early fire control.
The team also visited Samreboi SDA Preparatory School, where over 80 pupils and teachers were educated on common causes of domestic fires and preventive measures.
As part of the campaign, GNFS officers also used Green Gold FM to disseminate fire safety messages to the wider public, aimed at improving awareness and reducing fire outbreaks in the area.
