GES announces teaching vacancies for qualified graduates

The Ghana Education Service has announced vacancies for teaching positions, inviting applications from qualified graduates.

In a statement dated April 10, 2026, the Service said it is seeking candidates with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or related qualifications in education.

Applicants are expected to facilitate learning using modern technology, support diverse learner needs, apply varied assessment methods, adhere to the National Teaching Standards and Code of Conduct, and participate in continuous professional development.

To be eligible, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant degree with a Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate in Education, or a Diploma in Basic Education.

They must have completed National Service, possess a valid teaching license from the National Teaching Council, demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills, and be willing to accept postings to deprived districts.

Interested applicants are required to complete an online application form via the official recruitment portal and upload necessary documents, including academic certificates, National Service Certificate, teaching license, Ghana Card, passport-sized photograph, and valid contact details.

The application window is open from April 10 to April 17, 2026.
