The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting transnational education through international partnerships.
He made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation from Hainan University, led by Vice President Dr Gao, who visited to explore collaboration opportunities in Ghana’s higher education sector.

The discussions focused on areas including Information Technology, agriculture, and engineering.
Hon. Iddrisu welcomed China‘s progress in education, particularly in Information Technology, and commended the university for initiating the engagement.
He said the government, under President John Dramani Mahama, is pursuing policies to strengthen transnational education to improve quality and access in tertiary institutions.
He added that international partnerships are essential to support the expansion of higher education in Ghana.
