The Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) team has explained how aggregates for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) are calculated for senior high school (SHS) placements.

The formula is:
English + Mathematics + Integrated Science + Social Studies + [two best subjects].
The CSSPS team, however, stressed that while aggregates are important, raw scores remain the primary determinant in the placement process.
