The Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations (GFD) has provided four of its member organisations with a fully furnished office space to enhance their operations and coordination.
The facility, located at the Accra Rehabilitation Centre, includes equipped workstations, a kitchen fitted with a microwave and refrigerator, and a washroom. The GFD will also cover electricity bills and provide Wi-Fi services until the organisations become self-sustaining.

The beneficiary groups are the Inclusive Family Alliance, the Burns Survivors Organisation, the Ghana Stammering Association, and Sharecare Ghana.
Mrs. Rita Kusi Kyeremaa, Executive Director of the GFD, who handed over the facility, said the Federation remained committed to strengthening disability organisations to function at their full potential and make a meaningful impact.
She encouraged the groups to work towards self-sustainability and to mobilise resources to support their operations so that other member organisations could also benefit in the future.
Mrs Hannah Awadzi, Executive Director of the Inclusive Family Alliance, speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed appreciation to the GFD for the gesture, describing it as a significant step towards enhancing the visibility and efficiency of disability advocacy groups in Ghana.
