Speaking at the Yam Festival in Anyima, the Chief warned that if the situation is not addressed promptly, it could result in loss of lives and property, noting that threats had recently been made by some aggrieved youths along the land borders. \u201cIt is important for the government to take the necessary measures through the security agencies to bring the issue under control. We have always co-existed peacefully, but these recent developments are not friendly, and we cannot allow it to continue,\u201d he emphasised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Obrempong Amponsem II highlighted that intermarriages between the communities had fostered strong social bonds, which needed to be preserved. He also praised the harmony among Muslims, Christians, and traditional believers in the area, stressing that peace should not be underestimated.
