Citi FM and Channel One TV have announced the appointment of Nana Tuffuor Boateng as Head of News for both stations, alongside a newly structured editorial leadership team aimed at strengthening news delivery and coverage across traditional and digital platforms.

Nana Tuffuor Boateng, who began his journalism career in 2008, has been an integral part of the Citi Newsroom for the past eight years. His professionalism, editorial judgment, and deep understanding of the Ghanaian news landscape have earned him widespread respect from colleagues and audiences alike.

Supporting him is a team of seasoned editors who bring years of experience and renewed energy to the newsroom. Sammy Wiafe, who has served with the station for 13 years, continues as Editor in Charge of Main Line News.

Nana Kobina Welsing retains his role as Editor in Charge of Online and Digital Platforms, ensuring Citi News maintains its leadership across digital spaces. Fred Tettey Djabanor, with 11 years of dedicated service, remains Editor in Charge of Current Affairs, driving in-depth and analytical programming.

Zoe Abu-Baidoo, who has been with the station for nine years, takes on the role of Editor in Charge of Regional Operations, ensuring regional stories receive national prominence.

Together, this dynamic team represents Citi News’ commitment to integrity, balance, and innovation. Their collective vision is to elevate news coverage and storytelling by harnessing both traditional and digital media to better serve the Ghanaian public.
