
Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah is the Member of Parliament for Jirapa, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Born on Wednesday, 2nd April 1980, in Tizza-Nimbare, he is a devout Muslim and an accomplished public servant with experience in both education and governance.
Before entering Parliament, Hon. Dapilah served in key public sector roles, including Head Teacher with the Ghana Education Service, District Coordinator for the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), and later District Chief Executive under the Government of Ghana. His leadership trajectory is grounded in both grassroots and administrative governance.

He holds an MPhil in Social Administration from the University for Development Studies, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Valley View University, an HND from Wa Polytechnic, and a Certificate ‘A’ from Tumu Training College. His foundational education includes a Senior Secondary Certificate from Lawra Secondary School.
A former member of the 8th Parliament, he currently serves as Vice Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Committee. He is also a member of the Committees on Sanitation and Water Resources and Public Accounts.
