PROFILE: Alfred Nii Kotey Ashie

Hon. Alfred Nii Kotey Ashie is the Member of Parliament for Odododiodioo, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He was born on September 14, 1983, and hails from Asere, Accra. A Christian by faith, he is serving in Parliament for the first time.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Governance and Leadership from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), which he completed in 2021. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from GIMPA in 2020 and a Diploma in Youth in Development Work from the University of Ghana in 2008.

Before his election to Parliament, Hon. Ashie worked as an Administrator for Operations at the Onamroko Adain Family Council. He also served as a Special Assistant to Hon. Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, a former Minister of State and Greater Accra Regional Minister.
