In a statement, FanMilk expressed its commitment to addressing the issue and preventing its recurrence. The company's laboratory experts have conducted comprehensive tests on the recalled batches to investigate the cause of the problem. FanMilk attributed the recent quality issue to a change in starch sourcing and variations in handling.
Vendors have been instructed to return any FanYogo products with the specified batch numbers to designated FanMilk depots, namely Anointed Steve Enterprise (Kumasi), Dapaduk Ventures (Tamale), Eve-Asa Company Limited (Kasoa), Bubbles Ladies Gh. Limited (Spintex), and Little Stars Delight (Kwabenya).
FanMilk expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and appreciated the patience of its customers during this process.
