The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited has announced its intention to carry out a Nationwide Revenue Mobilisation exercise from Monday, May 29th to Friday, June 2nd, 2023.

During this extensive revenue mobilisation exercise, the focus will be on all categories of customers with outstanding payments, including State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

Special teams will be monitoring the exercise and will apprehend and prosecute customers who attempt to interfere with the process or engage in illegal self-reconnection after disconnection.

To facilitate this exercise, ECG will operate with a reduced staff pool, with essential services provided to customers during the revenue mobilisation period. Top management and staff will be fully engaged in the exercise.

However, all Customer Service Centres will remain open to serve customers.

Customers who have outstanding payments are urged to settle their bills promptly to avoid disconnection and the need to pay reconnection fees.
