The Eastern South Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects, Amos Boame and Collins Adjei, in connection with the armed robbery attack at the Kwafokrom GOIL Filling Station near Nsawam on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

The statement, signed by DSP David Fianko-Okyere of the Public Affairs Unit, Eastern South Region, said efforts were ongoing to arrest the remaining accomplices to face prosecution.

The Police said another suspect, identified only as Ashivie, is on the run and is being pursued over his alleged role in the robbery.

According to the Police, exhibits retrieved from the suspects include an Alder Tupal pump-action gun with serial number 245A-12944, an electronic shocker, a cutlass and a bullet vest, which are being kept for evidential purposes.

The Police said the suspects shot a security man and a pump attendant who had taken refuge in an office within the filling station during the robbery.

They reportedly made away with GH¢13,460 and assorted provisions whose value is yet to be determined.

Police inspection at the scene also uncovered 19 spent cartridges and one live round of ammunition. The victims are said to be in stable condition.
