The Ghana Police Service has arrested three Chinese nationals in connection with the alleged murder of a Ghanaian at a mining site in Bonsa, in the Western Region.
The suspects, identified as Wen Jianhua, Yu Shuhui, also known as Eli, and Zhou Daquan, are alleged to have shot and killed the victim on November 11, 2022.

Police said the victim’s body has been deposited at the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital for preservation and autopsy. The identity of the deceased has been withheld until the family is officially informed.
According to the Police Service, a search of the suspects’ residence led to the retrieval of the weapon believed to have been used in the incident.
Investigations are ongoing, and the suspects are expected to be arraigned before court to face the appropriate charges.
