CAPE COAST, 7 May 2026 – The Agona Swedru District Police Command has arrested six suspects for allegedly impersonating security operatives at S. I Jun Manufacturing Company Limited at Agona Akwakwa near Mankrong Nkwanta.
Police said the suspects arrived at the company premises on 6 May 2026 in a Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number GW 8887-V, dressed in military and immigration uniforms.

According to the report, three suspects wore Ghana Immigration Service camouflage uniforms, one wore a military uniform, and two were in mufti. They allegedly claimed to be National Security operatives and assaulted and harassed some Chinese nationals at the premises.
A police team dispatched to the scene found three Chinese nationals, identified as Man Guan, Chin Min and MA Kaixiang, handcuffed at the location.
The suspects, identified as Agyemang Benjamin, 32, Mahama Iddrisu Dawuda Seidu, 48, Ofori Isaac, 35, Adom Bills, 32, Hayford Boafo, 47, and Ato Mchenry, 48, were arrested and are in custody assisting investigations.
Police said the Military Police, Immigration Service and National Security have been contacted to verify the identities of the suspects. The case remains under investigation.
