Military officers have been urged to demonstrate high standards of leadership, professionalism and integrity in the discharge of their duties to strengthen the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
The call was made by the Commander of the Army Combat Training School during the graduation ceremony of military officers, where participants were reminded that effective leadership was essential to maintaining discipline, operational readiness and public confidence in the Armed Forces.

The Commander stressed that leadership in the military required courage, accountability, sound decision-making and a strong sense of responsibility, particularly in the face of evolving security threats.
He encouraged officers to remain committed to the core values of the Ghana Armed Forces and to lead by example in both their professional and personal lives.
The officers were also urged to uphold discipline, loyalty and teamwork while continuously improving their knowledge and skills to meet emerging security challenges.
According to the Commander, modern security threats such as terrorism, violent extremism and transnational crime demand innovative thinking and highly professional leadership from military personnel.
He further advised the officers to remain dedicated to serving the nation with honour and to work together in safeguarding Ghana’s peace, stability and territorial integrity.
The ceremony recognised the successful completion of military training and reaffirmed the Ghana Armed Forces’ commitment to developing competent leaders capable of responding to current and future security challenges.
