Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has announced the departure of coach Seydou Zerbo from the team, following a mutual agreement between the coach and the club’s management.

Management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club and Coach Seydou Zerbo have this morning mutually agreed to part ways.

Zerbo, who was appointed as an assistant coach last October, had been in charge of the team’s technical affairs after the club’s head coach, Mariano Barreto, returned to his home country due to personal reasons.
The club has appointed Coach Abdul Gazale as the Acting Head Coach until a new head coach is appointed.
Asante Kotoko, one of the most successful football clubs in Ghana, is currently third in the Ghana Premier League standings with 35 points, two points behind the league leaders Accra Hearts of Oak.
